How To Increase Mileage Up To 60% While Saving Money

If you’re sick of spending too much of your family budget on fuel, consider hydrogen on demand technology for your car. With a hydrogen kit, you can help your car burn fuel more efficiently; this reduces your personal dependence on fossil fuels by up to 60 percent. The technology to increase mileage so dramatically does not even require engine modifications. HHO kits allow your car to run on a remarkable combination of hydrogen and gasoline, diesel or propane.

Hydrogen on demand technology has been developed into a sophisticated system that actually makes fuel safer. Install an HHO kit and it uses plain water to create hydrogen, which is much lighter than fuel and so burns away more quickly. Fuel is highly flammable and heavier, so a resulting fire lasts longer and causes more damage. Hydrogen on demand cars are safer for you and your family than a regular car. It takes a higher temperature to ignite hydrogen so fires are less likely to occur.

Go Farther On A Tank Of Gas

Hydrogen on demand can increase mileage for your car in several different ways. First of all, a hydrogen kit, once it has been installed, will produce hydrogen that mixes with your fuel to make it stretch further. Your car will go further on a tank of gas or diesel than it ever has before. Second, HHO kits are designed to help your car burn fuel much more completely; the more gas that is burned up, the better your car will perform. Higher performance for your car means your car will last longer.

Hydrogen on demand is also environmentally friendly. When fossil fuels burn, the process is sloppy and often incomplete. The left over fuel is emitted from your car: that is CO2. A number of other toxic compounds are also produced when gasoline is burned. But hydrogen burns more completely, and the byproduct is only water. A combination of hydrogen and fossil fuels is ideal, balancing emissions and performance to help your car run at its peak.

A Dream Come True

You may be wondering why hydrogen on demand is just now becoming popular. A technology that helps increase mileage, save money and cut down on pollution seems like a dream come true. But oil and gasoline were in plentiful supply for more than a hundred years, and no one realized how much damage CO2 could cause to the environment, so the gasoline engine became the standard.

Now you can have hydrogen on demand technology, increase mileage, save money, keep your family safer and protect the environment all at the same time. You might even get tax credits for installing a kit; ask your tax adviser about it. High quality, long-lasting HHO kits are readily available and easily installed. Look into a hydrogen kit for your family soon.

Are You Considering Buying a Hybrid Car?

With oil prices on the rise and more drivers becoming concerned with their carbon footprint, hybrid cars are seen by many as the car of the future. With an ability to conserve fuel and reduce carbon emissions, these cars are growing in popularity with both manufacturers and drivers.

Hybrid cars operate with both a traditional gasoline engine but also have electric motor and batteries. With these two systems working together, fuel consumption is reduced allowing some hybrids to travel more than 60 miles per gallon of gas.

Charging systems built into these vehicles capture capture and utilize the energy of the car to to charge the batteries inside the vehicle. This eliminates the need of charging through an electrical outlet at home or through a specialized charging station required with some electric vehicles.

The improved fuel efficiency and internal charging mechanisms makes owning this type of a vehicle a major advantage over traditional gas only vehicles or pure electric vehicles. However, many buyers must still face the reality of a much higher purchase price when considering a hybrid vehicle.

To offset the higher purchase price of hybrid vehicles, governments have started offering incentives such as free parking, free entry to car pool lanes and government sponsored rebates. Some have even offered reduced fees at toll gates.

It is hoped these savings and incentives when combined with increased fuel savings will help entice people to consider hybrid vehicles.

Despite the obvious advantages, there are several disadvantages associated with hybrids.

Hybrid vehicles typically have higher repair costs. This is generally associated with the integration of the charging system, electric engine and combustion engine. This integration typically increases the complexity of the vehicle and provides more opportunity for things to go wrong. When problems arise they tend to take longer to find and repair and the associated parts have been shown to cost more.

Additionally, like other rechargeable batteries, the ones in these vehicles also need to be periodically replaced. This usually occurs in the later years of owning the vehicle but could cost thousands of dollars, depending on the manufacturer.

Some hybrid vehicles have also been shown to have poor fuel economy and less power than traditional gas powered vehicles.

Hybrid vehicles tend to weigh more than traditional gas vehicles. The addition of batteries required for the electric motors, the electric motor components and associated systems add to the weight of the vehicle.

In some terrains and climates these vehicles tend to operate more on gas than on their more effecient electric motors. The increased weight lowers the fuel economy and actually results in drivers paying more to operate these vehicles than it would traditional gas vehicles.

As manufacturers continue to make improvements in hybrid technology and address both maintenance costs and fuel efficiency, hybrid cars will become more common. Manufacturers are using lighter components, more effecient charging systems and batteries with a longer life.

Know The Indications That Your Car Needs A Belt Replacement

Getting a timing belt replacement service done on your car as soon as possible is very important. You need not worry too much because there are certain very noticeable symptoms that will tell you that you need to get this kind of service done for your car. One of the best ways for you to determine that your car needs a timing belt replacement is by opening up your hood so that you can take a look at that part of your car’s engine closely.

The following things are the things that you need to look out for so that you’ll know whether or not you already need a timing belt replacement.

Excessive Exhaust Emission

Problems with a car’s timing belt will cause its engine to function improperly and will lead to excessive emission of smoke from the exhaust. This happens when the time belt is no longer in sync with the closing of the exhaust valve. This can cause unused gases to be released at the car’s exhaust.

Difficult Starting Of The Vehicle

If you experience problems starting your car, your time belt may not be functioning well. This problem can be caused by other reasons but if you experience this on a regular basis, then you need to get your time belt checked.

Overheating And Leaking Engine

Very high temperatures in the engine or hot weather conditions can cause damage to the time belts because they’re only made out of rubber. When damage happens to them, the engine can’t work in sync and overheating can happen which can be followed by leakage.

Sudden Changes In Engine Noise

If you notice unusual engine noise while you’re driving your car, this can be a probable symptom that you have time belt problems and you need to get a replacement.
How A Replacement Is Done

Below are the steps done when a belt replacement is done. Take note that this process is something that’s not good to do on your own. Getting professionals to do this for you is highly advisable.

1. Allow the car to cool down to normal temperature. Disconnect your battery.
2. Detach all of the parts that are going to prevent you from removing the old belt.
3. Get a spanner and place the mark on the crankshaft to the zero timing scale mark on your car’s engine block.
4. Take off the bolts that are holding the time chain as well as its cover. Look at the seals of the crankshaft and camshaft, tension bearings, and all of the zero timing markings. If any of these things are damaged, replace them so that the new time chain won’t fail within a short span of time.
5. Remove the new chain and adjust its tension according to the specifications provided by the manufacturer. Put a new gasket to the chain and check the timing marks.
6. Place back all of the parts that you detached earlier including your car’s battery.
7. Start your engine and observe if the problems that your encountered before the replacement was done are still present.
